Extra required documents are mandatory for many countries. Below you can read which extra documents you need to upload in My IDW per country. You will also see for which type of education the additional documents are required.

American Samoa

An official transcript. Request this from the institution of higher education where you received your diploma. The educational institution must send the official transcript directly to IDW, either digitally by sending an e-mail to info@idw.nl or in a sealed envelope. Does the educational institution want to send the transcript by post? Send an email to info@idw.nl and we will give you our postal address.

Upload a diploma supplement, diploma annex or list of subjects with grades. An older diploma annex consists of two parts: a general part with information about the education and a part with the subjects and the obtained grades. Both parts must be uploaded. Upload the diploma supplement or the diploma annex in all the languages in which it was issued.

Bachelor, master or PhD diploma

A copy of the graduation certificate and the degree certificate, in Chinese. Did you receive a Bachelor's degree via a top-up or upgrade Bachelor's programme (usually 2 years)? In that case, submit a copy of the diploma that was required to en rol in this programme, plus grades lists for all years for this diploma;
A scan of the verification Report of China Higher Education Qualification Certificate + a scan of the Verification Report of Higher Education Degree Certificate (Chinese versions), if you request a credential evaluation for a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD diploma. We do not need translations of these documents.

How to apply for a CSSD verification report for Chinese degrees

You need a verification report for an application for a credential evaluation for:

China Secondary Education Qualification Certificate;
China High School Academic Proficiency Test (Huikao) Results;
Higher Education School Record (for a course not completed) after 2002;
Higher Education Graduation Certificate (毕业证书) after 2002;
Higher Education Degree Certificate (学士学位证书, 硕士学位证书, or 博士学位证书) after 2008.

If you do not have a Chinese (Mainland) phone number, please create an account using this registration form from CHSI.

Once you have created an account, go to the My CHSI page and log in with the account you created.

Click on "Online Verification Report" and follow the instructions to request an online verification report.

Have you obtained a Diploma and a Sarjana? Then add the official documents of both courses.
The higher education diploma can only be evaluated if the programme is accredited. This means that your study programme is accredited by BAN-PT at the time of graduation. If your programme is not listed in the BAN-PT database, please upload an official statement from BAN-PT about the accreditation status of your programme.

Iran

Are you applying for a credential evaluation for a Bachelor's diploma that you obtained after an associate degree? Then you must also upload a copy of the associate degree diploma (kardani) and the grades list for bath diplomas.

Discontinuous bachelor

In the case of a discontinuous bachelor (karshenasi napeyvasteh) you also need to upload the diploma and the transcript of the previously obtained associate degree (kardani).

A diploma higher education can only be evaluated if the programme is accredited. This means that your degree programme is accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) at the time of graduation and that the information can be found in the MQR database. This information must exactly match the wording on your documents. Is your education not in the MQR database or are the data worded differently? Contact the MQA to check the accreditation status of your degree programme.

Upload a copy of the front and back of the diploma;
Upload the full diploma supplement (prilozjenje k diplome, prilozjenje k attesttatu). This consists of two parts: a general part with information of the study programme (svedenia) and a part with the subjects and grades obtained (resultaty);
A verification certificate in the form of a PDF from the Russian state diploma database or a verification letter. A translation is not necessary. You can read how to do this below under 'Verification certificate for higher education & high school.'

PhD

Upload a copy of the front and back of the diploma;
Upload the Avtoreferat (the summary of the thesis);
A verification certificate in the form of a PDF from the Russian state diploma database or a verification letter. A translation is not necessary. You can read how to do this below under 'Verification certificate for higher education & high school.'

Verification of higher education & high school

To verify your diploma you must upload proof. There are two options:

A PDF that you download from the Russian state diploma database;
A verification letter from the university or high school where you obtained your degree.

PDF from the Russian State Diploma Database

You search the database for your diploma using the name of the educational institution, or a newer name of the educational institution. Have you found your diploma details? Then you can download a PDF by clicking on 'download PDF'. The document is called документ-об-образовании. Upload this PDF file in Mijn IDW. You do not need to upload a translation of the PDF.

Have you found your diploma in the database? Then it is not necessary to request a verification letter from your university.

Have you not found your diploma in the database? Or are you unable to access the database from the Netherlands? Then it is necessary to request a verification letter.

Verification letter from your university or high school

You must request the verification letter from the university/school yourself. It may be a letter or an email. The document must contain the following information:

Your name;
The name of the diploma (degree/certificate);
Number of the diploma;
Issuing date of the diploma;
The name of your study programme.

Upload the verification letter in Mijn IDW. You do not need to upload a translation of the verification letter.
